Incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, our confit duck legs will certainly become a must have in your refrigerator. Enjoy this classic French dish on weeknights just as well as on the week-end with family or friends.   

Preparation

Cooking times may vary depending on the appliance used.
If frozen, thaw in refrigerator before heating.

For Best Results

Place bag in a properly sized pot and cover with cold water. Bring water to a low boil and heat for approximately 10 minutes. Open bag, pour contents into a baking dish and cover. Caution: contents will be hot! Place in oven and heat for approximately 10 minutes (230 °C / 450 °F). For golden-brown and crispy skin, remove cover and continue cooking under the broiler for 5 minutes. Serve.

Conventional oven

Preheat oven to 190 °C (375 °F). Pour contents of bag into a baking dish, cover and heat for approximately 20 minutes. For golden-brown and crispy skin, remove cover and continue cooking under the broiler for 5 minutes. Serve.

Barbecue

Preheat barbecue to medium heat. Remove duck legs from plastic bag and place on grill, on an aluminium foil sheet, skin-side up. Close lid. Heat for approximately 15 minutes and serve.

After heating the duck legs in boiling water or in the oven, save the fat and cooking juices and use it to sauté potatoes or simply add it to your favorite pasta or vegetables.

Storage & Handling

Keep refrigerated.
Can be frozen.
