Gluten free Portuguese chicken legs 870 g

These Portuguese chicken legs are prepared with fresh and dried tomatoes, green and black olives, and onions. Enhanced with a touch of piri-piri and of Espelette pepper, this dish abounds with flavours of Portugal.

Preparation

Cooking times may vary depending on the appliance used.
If frozen, thaw in refrigerator before heating.

For Best Results

Place bag in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring water to a low boil and heat for approximately 10 minutes. Open bag and pour contents into a baking dish. Caution: contents will be hot! Cover and heat in oven for approximately 10 minutes (190 °C / 375 °F). Halfway through cooking, baste the legs with the cooking juice. For golden-brown and crispy skin, remove cover and continue cooking under the broiler for 5 minutes. Serve.

Conventional oven

Preheat oven to 205 °C (400 °F). Pour contents of bag on a baking sheet and place in oven on the middle rack. Heat for approximately 25 minutes or until skin is golden-brown and crispy. Halfway through cooking, baste the legs with the cooking juice. Serve.

Keep refrigerated.
